Designed as a home that can evolve alongside its owners, House 01 embraces flexibility through a carefully considered architectural language of layered transparency and movement. Sliding glass walls and operable timber shutters form a dual skin that allows the character of the house to shift throughout the day, responding to changing light, weather, privacy requirements, and patterns of living.

The expansive ground floor opens seamlessly onto a covered patio, landscaped courtyard, and garden, dissolving the boundary between inside and out. Along the upper level, folding timber screens provide privacy and solar control while framing curated views of the surrounding landscape. Generous volumes, floor-to-ceiling glazing, and finely crafted joinery further enhance the sense of openness and calm.

A restrained palette of natural materials, including exposed concrete, flamed granite, white oak, stone cladding, and natural stone finishes, brings warmth and texture to the contemporary architecture. Beneath its refined appearance, the home incorporates passive environmental strategies, natural ventilation, thermal mass, solar heating, and energy-efficient systems, creating a residence that is both elegant and responsive to its environment.
